On June 25, China Coast Guard (CCG) held a singing competition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

This singing competition was held in a live streaming form. The participants of the CCG headquarters gathered at the main venue and the participants of the other coast guard units at all the levels gathered at the sub-venues. The 19 representative teams from the grassroots organizations expressed the mission sense, honor sense and pride sense of the new-era coast guard staff, the oath of the coast guard staff to always listen to the party and follow the party, their unlimited love for the party, the motherland, the maritime rights and interests protection and their beautiful life by singing their songs loudly. They expressed their selfless feelings for the national prosperity and revival.  

During the competition, focusing on the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the teams participating in the competition took praising the party, the motherland and the reform and opening up as the main contents, they vigorously sang one song after another with great enthusiasm, fully expressed their love for the party and the motherland and grandly celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

The song Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China reviewed the glorious history of the Communist Party of China, praised the great achievements of the party, expressed the people’s love and respect for the party, conveyed the original aspiration and mission of the Communist Party of China to bring happiness to the Chinese people and revive the Chinese nation, and showed the gratitude of the new-era coast guard staff for the party, their courage to bear important responsibilities and their dream of building the coastal areas into beautiful places.

Some beautiful songs such as The Motherland Let Me Manage a Vast Expanse of Sea, Assemble under the Party Flag and Remain True to the Original Aspiration are full of deep love and they are graceful and touching. They interpret the original aspiration and sincere will of the numerous coast guard staff to protect the sea and people from multiple angles. The songs The Motherland Will Never Forget, Yearn for and Because of Belief are sonorous, forceful and inspiring. They reflect the firm belief of the new-era coast guard staff — “remain true to the original aspiration, keep the mission in mind and always follow the party” — and their determination to focus on the maritime rights and interests protection and law enforcement, and make contributions to the construction of the coastal areas.  

The whole sing competition was grand and magnificent, and it was full of enthusiasm. The melody was sometimes mild, pleasant and slow, sometimes warm and cheerful, and sometimes exciting and sonorous. With the help of some other artistic elements such as poems and situational performances, the singing competition brought the audience an extremely beautiful audio-video feast and caused the emotional resonance of all the participants. The spirit of all the competition participants was high and they were in a good mental state. They comprehensively exhibited the good image of the new-era coast guard staff.

The coast guard units expressed that taking this event as a good opportunity, they remained true to the original aspiration, keep the mission in mind, spare no effort to do their best, continue to work very hard, constantly promote the high-quality development of the coast guard cause and strive to make achievements to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China!
